Sounds Delightful offers the ultimate in both privacy and convenience. We're on a secluded cul-de-sac inside the gated Currituck Club community, which features an 18-hole Rees Jones golf course, as well as two public pools, tennis courts, a fitness facility, a fabulous gourmet grocery store, and several eateries and specialty shops. We're minutes away from shopping, historical sites, family activities (go-carts, carpet golf, wild horse tours), as well as casual and fine dining. (Be sure to try our favorite restaurants: North Banks and Route 12, both in the nearby Timbuck II Shopping Center.)

With two masters--one King (described by a guest as the "nicest we've ever stayed in") and one Queen--another Queen and two other bedrooms, Sounds Delightful sleeps 12. There are three full baths and a half-bath. Every bedroom has its own TV and the bunk room also features a PlayStation 2.

Traveling with an infant? Leave the Pack & Play, high chair and baby gate at home. We've got them here for you. Also forget the linens. We supply sheets and towels; and we take care of the cleaning, too.

In the great room, you'll find a 46", flat screen HDTV and comfortable furnishings from which to enjoy TV and movie watching. For those who can't do without their e-mail, you'll be glad to know that Sounds Delightful also features high speed wireless internet. Bring your own computer. A gas fireplace is available for your enjoyment during off-season weeks.

Outside, there's a large pool (14'x 35') and a 6-seat hot tub. If you love the beach, you can be oceanside in mere minutes. In-season, just catch the trolley at the corner.

Did we mention that we have a great view of the Currituck Sound? You haven't lived until you've watched the sun go down over the Sound from the rocking chairs on our back deck. Fall sunsets are particularly beautiful. Check out the picture on our photo page.

Beds: 1 king, 2 queens, 2 twins and 1 pyramid bunk with a trundle. 'Sounds Delightful' can sleep 12 comfortably. Upon your arrival, you'll find all beds made, towels in place and a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and soaps for your convenience.
